The former hunting lodge that’s been converted, speak of erstwhile elegance and comes with comforts like charming accommodation, a well-stocked bar and even a fully-equipped conference room for those meetings that spell business as unusual.
The wild has its charms and traditions. Here you’re not a tourist, but an explorer; an adventurer. Meals, being a opportunity for explorers to share their stories and wild rendezvous, are group affairs.
Accomodation
The River Kabini Lodge with its colonial styled accommodation facilities recreates a time bygone. Rooms that transport you to the Rajah’s era, quaint cottages, maharaja cottages(with A/C) and tented cottages with modern bath facilities sum up the accommodation facilities at River Kabini Lodge. The capacity to host just over 68 guests at a time and the absence of TV and A/C in our rooms keep this property true to what it stands for – a place to get closer to nature.

Day Two

Wake up to a hot early morning cup of tea/coffee

Cruise through the serene backwaters of the River Kabini on a motor boat viewing sleepy crocodiles and chirpy birds, intent on their morning catch. View a variety of wildlife, especially the elephants, coming to the river for bath or a drink. ?Alternatively, you can go on a jeep safari to sight the animals, which means you can have the boat ride the evening before.

A night’s stay is divided into Day 1 & Day 2. To experience the destination like it ought to be, we recommend you stay at Kabini for at least 2 nights.
One road safari and boat safari is provided as per the programme at Kabini River Lodge. If a second road safari is requested, it can be provided only on the basis of availability. Also, in case of a request for a road safari, the second safari will de facto be a VAN safari.
